Description

Thymiopoulos Apostolos Earth & Sky

Vineyards
This wine is a blend of the estate’s finest certified organic parcels, averaging 45 years of age. 70% of the grapes are sourced from vineyards near Trilofos village, while the remaining 30% come from the higher-altitude slopes surrounding Fytia village. The combination brings balance, depth, and terroir-driven character to the final blend.

Altitude

Trilofos: 150–250 meters

Fytia: 450–650 meters

Soil Composition
The soils are predominantly limestone-based, with layers of schist and a clay-rich topsoil. This composition ensures excellent drainage and nutrient retention, contributing to the wine’s structure and minerality.

Microclimate
The warm Mediterranean climate is moderated by cooling sea breezes and the descending air currents from Mount Vermio. These natural influences help regulate vineyard temperatures during ripening, protecting grape integrity and preserving acidity. In the Fytia zone, the higher altitude and significant diurnal temperature variation further enhance aromatic complexity and finesse in the final blend.
