Limestone with a high percentage of quartz and schist, offering excellent drainage and contributing to the wine’s complexity and structure.
Microclimate
The warm climate is moderated by Mediterranean winds and cool air descending from Mount Vermio. Despite the relatively low altitude, the significant diurnal temperature range and lower temperatures during the ripening season enhance freshness and balance in the wine.
